Kurt Sloane is the cornerman for his older brother Eric Sloane. After Eric was immobilized by the vicious Tong Po, Kurt vows to avenge his brother.

Kurt Sloane was born on September 16, 1960. He was the middle brother in a family of 5 people, with his older brother named Eric and his younger brother named David. His father's name was Arthur, and his mother's name was Cécile. At some point in his life, his parents got divorced
For unknown reasons, his mother took him and possibly David to Los Angeles, while Kurt's father took Eric to New York.
